Become a demi-pair in Ireland: live completely immersed in a host family and take classes in one of Dublin’s respected schools.
You will have free accommodation with your host family during your entire stay, in exchange you must look after your host family’s children for a few hours per day. At the same time, take up to 15 houres of English lessons per week in our partner school.
Dublin

The Language School
The language school is located in the centre of Dublin in a modern building. Each student benfits from a personalised linguistic study plan which is adapted in order to help them acheive their academic and professional objectives.
The Lessons
The “General English Language Course” consists of 15 hours of lessons a week which take place each morning to fit in with your host family’s work schedule. In each class there are between 4 and 15 pupils. This small number enables the teacher to work with each student individually to facilitate a fast development of your English.
No allowance is given.
PLEASE NOTE: Before enrolling, to ensure that you meet the programme’s participation requirements, your level of English will be evaluated by our partner school during an individual Skype followed by an online language testd. Consequently, you will be placed in a class suitable for your level of English as soon as you arrive. Your progress will be regularly re-evaluated for better linguistic support.
Your role will be to look after the children in your host family for up to 4/5 hours a day (usually after your lesson) and to do a few light household chores to help your family in their day to day life.
You will usually be free on Saturdays and Sundays, although the family may ask you to baby-sit from time to time.
Above all this programme is a cultural exchange which requires open-mindedness. You must be responsible as well as flexible in order to be able to adjust to your host family’s way of life
This programme is not open to male demi-pairs.
